Bethany is a licensed session hair stylist and makeup artist located in New Braunfels, Texas. She’s also mama to her adorable toddler, Silas Wayne. Her lifelong passion for hair and makeup became a career path in 2009 when she became licensed to practice cosmetology. She worked behind the chair for Toni&Guy where she received extensive formal training by the industry’s top educators and studied under advanced programs preparing her for platform artistry, haircutting, styling and makeup.
For a number of years, Bethany served her Toni&Guy teams as a cutting, styling and makeup educator in both Austin and Houston before embarking on her own journey as a small business owner. As of Summer 2024, Bethany is taking salon clients at Good Company located in downtown New Braunfels.
Since 2009, Bethany has played a role in the wedding industry, with her work featured in The Knot Magazine, Southern Bride and Destination I Do. Bethany Elyse Hair & Makeup was created in 2015 to serve her bridal clientele. Her team is comprised of artists located all around central Texas and has evolved into Wander Weddings.
You can find Bethany behind the chair offering cuts and color during the week in the salon and on location for weddings most weekends. She is forever passionate about education and is constantly expanding her skills and knowledge in hair and skincare, cosmetics and wellness. In her free time you can find her in the gym, finding her next favorite hiking trail, brewery or coffee shop, or at home with her baby boy cooking barefoot in her kitchen.
